Vicky Butler
Vicky Butler suffered from a traumatic accident that left her paralyzed and fully dependent on a ventilator. She chose Vibra Hospital of Northern California for her recovery. Upon arrival, she was unable to sit or even breathe on her own.
Despite all the obstacles ahead of her, Vicky did whatever she could to regain her strength and muscle function. She received support from her physical, occupational, and speech therapists. Her husband provided unconditional love and support throughout her stay.
Determined to get back to better, Vicky went from not tolerating any therapy to being able to complete three hours a day. Because of this, Vicky is now breathing, speaking, and swallowing on her own. She regained use of a significant amount of her upper body and has qualified for the spinal cord program at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center.
